How long does it take to set up?

Under 30 minutes. We roll it in, deploy the screen, and load your content.

Does it need to be a dark room for PROJEXION to work?

Not at all. PROJEXION uses a high-gain, ambient light-rejecting (ALR) screen. Think of it like a microscopic lenticular surface, it reflects the projectors light directly to the viewer while refracting ambient light away. Your visuals stay crisp and bright, even in environments with windows or overhead lights.

Yes, the image looks best in low light just like a TV, but PROJEXION is designed for real-world spaces where blackout isn't realistic. And unlike TVs, there’s no glare, no reflection, and no bad angles. Your content will look amazing.

Can the unit be used outdoors?

Not at this time. PROJEXION is built for indoor, design-controlled environments where content quality can be guaranteed.

Do I need an AV tech on site?

Yes. PROJEXION includes a trained technician with every rental. We understand that events have no room for error, our tech will be onsite to ensure everything runs smoothly. If you want to reposition the unit during your event, we’ll be there to make it happen.

Can I brand the cabinet?

Yes. The cabinet is fully white-label. We can design your vinyl wrap in-house or provide a template for your team to use.

What’s inside the cabinet?

A 4K ultra-short-throw projector, a motorized 120” ALR screen, internal media and power, RGBW-lit merchandising shelves, a premium sound bar, and a subwoofer. PROJEXION can also connect to house audio if needed.

Is there a minimum rental period?

Yes. Standard rentals are per event day, but we offer multi-day and touring rates for longer installations or campaigns.

How much power does it need?

Just one standard 120V outlet, no special power or rigging required.

Can I buy a PROJEXION unit?

We selectively offer custom-built units for permanent installations in museums, architecture, retail, and cultural spaces. Inquire to see if your use case qualifies. We do not sell to venues where rentals may be cannibalized.

Is an internet connection required?

It depends. A reliable internet connection is recommended, especially for live or streaming content. A hardline or dedicated network is best. That said, PROJEXION can also run all video content locally. Every unit includes an Apple TV for flexible playback.
